Quality and Patient Safety Specialist – Full Time – Days – Lower Manhattan

In this role, you will provide quality and patient safety consulting, analysis, improvement facilitation, and program administration services for assigned internal client groups within the Hospital. You will develop, implement, and improve programs to establish and maintain Quality and Patient Safety standards of existing products and services, as well as develop programs to focus on the care provided to patients. In addition, you will research, collect and analyze internal and external data for decision making and serve as subject matter expert regarding client’s quality and patient safety initiatives, significant event management, and goals in alignment with the Hospital’s strategic priorities.

This position is based out of our NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital with possible travel to any of our NYP sites and will be full-time Monday to Friday. Typical hours are 9:00am-5:00pm. Hybrid work schedule options are available.

Preferred Criteria
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Clinical Licensure (RN, PA, NP, MD, Nurse Midwife, RD, PT/OT, or PharmD)
• PMP or Six-Sigma/Lean
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• Excellent data analytics skills

Required Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare related position, preferably in Quality and Performance Improvement

$123,500-$161,000/Annual
