Job Location: Bridgewater NJ or NYC (200 Park Ave)

Role Value Proposition:

Provide underwriting, reporting, and administrative services for new business and renewals of all PRB products, and in particular the Retiree Life Buyout (GLIFA) and Retiree Medical Buyout products. Work closely with the sales team across all states and other internal partners to position MetLife in the best way to succeed. This includes ensuring that profitability goals are met, and customer satisfaction is maximized.

Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate GLIFA annual term premium and lead quarterly GLIFA & Retiree Medical CFT exercise
• Work with sales team to ensure that new business quotes and renewals are rated appropriately
• Underwrite new business quotes by analyzing financial data and plan design information to determine whether to accept risk and at what premium level
• Serve as technical expert for PRB unit, specifically program maintenance of Cash Flow / ROI models
• Conduct periodic analysis of Retiree Medical inforce to help with prospective new business assumption setting
• Respond to broker and customer inquiries as GLIFA & Retiree Medical SME
• Updates databases with quote / sale, claim, and inforce information
• Responsible for completing implementation of Retiree Medical internal admin system
• Responsible for full maintenance of end-to-end Retiree Medical admin & inforce management
• Meets specific metrics and guidelines for completion of new business quotes

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:
• 10+ Years Group Insurance industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience

Preferred:
• Life / Annuity pricing experience Excellent creative problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills

The wage range for applicants for this position is 121,400 and 161,800. This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
