Job Overview
The Empire State Building Observatory (ESBO) is seeking a Revenue Data Analyst to join the Revenue Management team. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and present actionable recommendations to the leadership team. You will collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for revenue growth, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $125,000. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, job location, size of property where applicable, and/or certifications. Responsibilities
• Data Gathering and Modeling
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems, identifying and resolving data discrepancies as needed.
• Implement data quality controls and continuously improve data management processes.
• Conduct regular data quality checks to identify and rectify data discrepancies and anomalies. Implement data governance practices to maintain data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. Customize reporting based on user needs to ensure stakeholders have access to actionable insights.
• Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, SSRS, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI) to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
• Develop data models to streamline data integration and transformation processes. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through data cleansing and normalization techniques.
• Create and maintain data dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of commercial initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation
• Collect and organize large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Conduct thorough analyses to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
• Translate complex data into clear and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Oversee the collection, integration, and validation of commercial data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Perform sophisticated data analysis to derive actionable insights, market trends, and customer behavior patterns.
• Provide insights for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Balance occupancy and average ticket price for each sales channel to ensure total revenue optimization.
• Participate and support in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
