Bradley Real Estate is looking for a Sr.
Investment Analyst to join our Finance Team! This position collaborates in the management of the investment portfolio, including enhancing accounting, performance benchmarking, and reporting to the Investment Committee, leadership, and shareholders.
Analyzes investment opportunities and recommends investments as appropriate.
May help to evaluate investments and major projects for high-level analysis.
Requires a bachelor’s degree.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Work generally independent and collaborative in nature, supporting the company in managing cash and liquidity of the operating businesses.
High potential to grow as portfolio expands.
Duties and Responsibilities • Completes monthly Investments Schedule in accordance with GAAP, supporting enhancements to reporting on underlying investment income, and Book/Tax attributes.
• Provides assistance in enhancing reporting on investment results against performance benchmarks to improve oversight of investment advisors and managers.
• Supports efforts to determine appropriateness of policy benchmark considering asset allocation, manager selection and structure.
• Collaborates in the regular Investment Committee reporting, preparation of decks for meetings, Diligent Boards uploads, and weekly Investment Committee communications.
• Reviews quarterly investment advisor and custodian invoices for accuracy, and occasionally spot checks individual manager fees.
• Prepares comprehensive schedule of all investment advisors, fund managers, and custodians for the entire investment portfolio.
• Reconciles individual manager statements with custodian aggregated reports.
• Works in conjunction with the Tax Department to gather 1099s and K-1s for annual tax preparation, help estimate various sources of investment income and gains to support Tax Department with determining tax liability estimates.
• Analyzes and tracks existing portfolio performance, asset allocation exposures, and liquidity.
• Assists in sourcing, evaluating, and structuring new fund investments and co-investments.
• Performs due diligence work including thematic market research, financial modeling, valuation and benchmarking analyses.
• Prepares weekly updates to the short-term cash forecast, identifying forecast to actual variances and investigates the root cause to determine ways to improve forecasting accuracy, consolidates monthly cash forecasts on a consolidated level to aid in the planning of liquidity requirements.
• Supports and executes actions within Portfolio.
• Builds financial/operational models/dashboards.
• Tracks investment trends & market research.
• Assists with relationship management with Advisors.
• Provides support in other areas related to Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis as needed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualification Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Proficiency using a PC (Personal Computer) to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.
