The VP of Allocation for CKNA reports to the EVP of Planning and Allocation for CKNA.
Responsibilities:
• Direct strategic merchandise allocation process and approve performance objectives (e.g. breadth, depth, fixture fill, tiers, 100% sell thru, etc.)
• Manage allocation organization through dialogue with merchants, field and allocation team. Lead strategic thinking for allocators. Develop, evaluate, and coach staff. Identify emerging sales trends and opportunities across all departments
• Create a cross divisional collaboration where all allocators can come together to discuss overall initiatives. This will encourage new ways of thinking as well as exchange of ideas. Expanding the group from one division to all divisions will produce more new ideas and effectively evolve business processes
• Be a liaison with the field, and participate in all Field Calls
• Manage the JDA suite (EP, AP, Allocation, SSI (size scaling)), and merchandising systems and support the launch of new systems/processes
• Be division IT liaison for streamline communication with IT for merchandising systems.
• Part of decision making team on real estate opportunities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• 7+ years in allocation, inventory planning
• Experience leading planning and logistics, replenishment and distribution process
• Retail and Omni-channel planning leadership experience, preferred experience leading off-price/outlet channel
• Ability to multi-task with adherence to deadlines
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize
• Strong project management skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to think strategically and implement tactically is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to travel to stores
• PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook
Pay Range:
$245,000 – $300,000
