What You Will Achieve

As a Finance Audit Manager, you will have primary responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a team of Finance auditors, conducting independent audit and risk oversight activities at Pfizer locations worldwide and performing direct assist procedures under the oversight of external auditors. You will also participate on strategic teams within Corporate Audit.

How You Will Achieve It
• Lead from planning to conclusion the review and evaluation of compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, which requires management to maintain adequate controls to prevent a material misstatement of the Company’s financial statements.
• Present audit results to leadership, addressing identified issues and corresponding risks, requiring strong negotiation and influence skills.
• Draft formal written reports setting forth recommendations to strengthen and improve operations, as well as identify cost or efficiency savings.
• Lead the application of data analytics to support the entire audit cycle, including planning, testing of controls, reporting and issue verification.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements related to the audit approach.
• Actively participate on departmental and/or cross-functional teams addressing internal and external issues that support the department’s Strategic Business Framework.

Qualifications

Must-Have
• Education: BA/BS; MA/MS/MBA (Preferred Discipline: Finance, Accounting)
• Certification: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or Chartered Accountant Required
• Years of experience: 5-7 years
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Big 4 Public accounting and/or internal auditing
• Strong financial or operational review background
• Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with all levels of management
• Negotiation and influence skills – the ability to influence others without express authority
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to integrate across multiple and varied business areas
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, creativity, project management
• Ability to navigate in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), extract data, and understand data flow
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments
• Comfort working in a matrix organization
• Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships

Nice-to-Have
• Healthcare compliance experience or IT exposure a plus
• Proven record of data analysis experience using data analytics tools (Spotfire and Tableau preferred)
• Data visualization skills and use of relevant tools (Spotfire and Tableau preferred)
• Multi-national pharmaceutical experience and international experience

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work on flexible schedule to collaborate virtually with colleagues in North & Central American, European, and Asia Pacific time zones.
• Availability for regular business domestic and international travel

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $106,300.00 to $177,100.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
