ROLE SUMMARY

Director, Access and Affordability Marketing is a critical role within the commercial organization, responsible for developing and implementing local coverage and access strategies and tactics for different audiences to support patient access to their HCPs’ prescribed therapy. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively engage with US Market Access, Payer Solutions, Brand, Field Access Leads, Patient Access Coordinators and Field Sales leadership.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop coverage and access messaging and promotional materials to communicate access and affordability to HCPs, patients, and health systems.
• Lead the development of patient messaging and resources to effectively support patients through access and affordability challenges.
• Lead the development of cost and coverage messaging and resources, and partner with US Market Access, Sales Leadership, Brand and Payer Solutions to identify access pull-through opportunities.
• Partner with Field Access Leads and Patient Access Coordinators to develop materials and tools that will support FALs and PAC strategies and initiatives.
• Responsible for ensuring all materials and tools are approved and implemented through the RC process.
• Understand and anticipate the implication of changing market access dynamics.

QUALIFICATIONS
• BS/BA and 10+ years of experience, OR Master’s and 9+ years of experience
• Previous experience with a focus on Payer Marketing preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Pfizer’s RC process required.
• Previous experience working with agencies on creation of materials required.
• Must demonstrate the ability to develop materials and tools in accordance with the compliance and guideline boundaries of the customer-facing team.
• Strong project management skills, setting and executing against deadlines and delivering on commitments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership.
• Demonstrated success in maintaining productive/collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential.
• Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and develop and coach others to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Travel is up to 25% for internal meetings as well as attending conferences.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $144,900.00 to $241,500.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.

Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
